In this pure thought and definition the essence of JUMP the GAP was born. With JUMP the GAP Janne Baetsen stands for an outspoken and innovative way of thinking about cross-cultural communications, co-creation and creative concept development. Janne: "My aim is to see the gap and create connecting (multiple-disciplinary) solutions, identities and voices that build enduring brands, collaborations, projects and ecosystems.

HOW TO JUMP

KNOW YOUR PAST & FUTURE
Driven by my fascination for human nature, I underline the importance of understanding who you are within today's world as well as the possibilities of future selves and your unique role in society. I analyse the core characteristics of your business, project, idea, brand and environment (#1. What is), and help you to discover your goals, tone of voice and place (#2. What should be) and create the dialogue you need to reach your targets and dreams (#3. What will be). Hereby focussing on four important elements: identity, tone of voice, dialogue and environment. 

ARE YOU SEEKING FOR THE WRONG SOLUTIONS OR BEST MISTAKES?
Whereas the well-known critical thinking method is primarily concerned with seeking errors and finding the 'right answer', I embrace divergent and multiple-disciplinary thinking as the creative way forward. My mind - that isn't affraid of making mistakes - generates ideas by exploring many possible, and alternative solutions and it loves to challenge current systems, narratives, structures and definitions.  `

DARE TO SLOW UP!
I also value the vision of what I would like to call 'Slowing up'. In a world where technology and media are rushing everyone, slowing our steps, choices, mind, and creative ideas can be THE way forward. Just think about it: the fastest decisions are not always the best decisions. Take the time to respond, rather than just react to new developments. We are human beings, not robots. Our productivity doesn’t just depend on rapidly following trends. It also depends on our intuition and creativity, and these things need time and space to flourish. And a bit of fun!

IT'S A TWO-WAY STREET

In a world where emails, tweets, blogs, videos, and Facebook posts reach the masses, I prefer a more unique, creative, precisely targeted and personalised approach to connecting. I strongly believe we need to stand out from the crowd and not just push send or 'like', but aim to surprise and engage. We should not make the mistake to assume communication creates connection. 
And in the spirit of GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE I love to improve the power of the message by connecting with other creative and innovative companies, projects and minds.
